This is really annoying, that there is no way to get a plugin for safari that changes the proxy settings or switches between different settings.

Ok, you can define several network configurations, but that’s not it… I searched a bit and found a convenient way to switch settings easily by creating a little apple-script. Please be patient, it’s my first AppleScript

This script uses the networksetup command to change the proxy settings, and yes – it cannot distinguish between more than 3 settings, it does not read out the settings first. But it works here quite well and you might use it for building your own environment
